It was in 1988 when he started working for WABC in NYC when his show reached nationwide set of listeners and he is currently living in Palm Beach, Florida.
His radio show “The Rush Limbaugh Show” is now aired from Florida and it’s broadcasted all over the country. Back in the year 2012 his weekly audience reached 15 million listeners and he continues to grow.


He is known to be one of the radio personalities who gets the biggest contracts in the industry and he signed a contract of $400 million in 2008 for his show for the next 8 years. This places him high in the top list with the radio personalities with the highest income, right after the legendary Howard Stern.

Rush Limbaugh is estimated to be worth many hundreds of millions. During his career he managed to stand out of the crowd with the help of his politically oriented sarcasm.
One of the most important moments in his life was when he was an opponent of Bill Clinton in 1995.

Other things that brought many controversies is that he was in the past drug addict and he was declared deaf in 2001. This happened due to a huge amount of pain killers and prescription meds he took due to his addiction. While his life tends to be full of controversies and there is a colorful picture in the radio show history, he remains the favorite of many people.
